How did it all commence?
It is a journey of almost 30 years of
observation and acoustic, auditory training.
The ears of an adolescent caught the melodies, harmonies and
seductive rhythms of his "LATIN" race from its many different regions,
each with its own characteristics.
Thus, this young listener becomes the artist who dreams of creating, composing;
and even more deeply hidden in him, of becoming performer -- at which point,
it has become more than a dream...a utopia.
But then, what was utopia begins to receive drops of something even stronger than that what
dreams are made of: "FAITH", the authentic inspiration given by the GIANT OF ALL
SENTIMENTS AND TIMES, EVEN “JESUS”, YES, HE OF NAZARETH, OUR LORD AND GOD,
and with this power to dress dreams with color, the path is lighted and becomes clear to the traveler.
And so, drops of faith and cleansing interpretations of the most popular performers; a permanent rain of songs, with rhythms and names from all provenances, such as: Tulio Enrique León, Hugo Blanco, Damirón, Xavier Cugat, and Ángel Viloria, all the "merengues" (it is difficult to mention them all), besides: Barbarito Diez, Javier Solís, Bobi Capo, José Luís Monero, Billo Frómeta, Los Melódicos, Víctor Piñero, Leo Marini, Nelson Pinedo, etc., all of them fused into an extract that is sown in the mind of this adolescent dreamer, until he himself recognizes how melodies and rhythms surge.
As a result, the adolescent also learns how to play musical instruments, apply systems and other resources
with which he shapes that which is bursting forth from that wellspring, to record it on the pentagram
and to execute it, transforming a utopia in reality; the youngster revealing himself as Composer,
Editor and performer.
And he applies himself to the search of alternatives, like the great "matadores," and, as a result, gives birth to
his first production with rhythmic and melodical Hot Calypsos [Calypseados Candentes], Merengues
Cha cha cha, and many other types of seductive creations to sing, dance, dream or express devotion.
Thus was born, JOSE ENRIQUE PINEDO, “THE COMPOSER.”
With so many seeds sown in fertile ground, the fruits have to be delightful. Even more so if we consider today's market, saturated with doubtful expressions, where his compositions will be a delicacy, an auditory dessert, "Calypseado" and "Apambicháo".
